Boldbrain: Selezionate le venti startup che parteciperanno alla sesta edizione

A total of 140 applications were submitted for the sixth edition of our accelerator Boldbrain Startup Challenge, of which 77 were eligible for selection, according to the admission rules.

The heterogeneity of the projects once again characterized the selection. Among the main sectors represented, ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) stood out, followed by consumer products and the medtech, fintech, and cleantech sectors. This variety confirms Boldbrain’s positioning as a horizontal accelerator that does not focus on a single economic sector, but rather on innovation and scalability of projects.

There is a significant presence of Swiss projects, with nineteen of the twenty startups coming from Switzerland, sixteen of them from the Canton of Ticino itself, confirming the spread of the culture of innovation in the region and the presence of valid entrepreneurial projects ready to make a difference in the territory. It is also noted that the network and the Regional Innovation System are functioning well, as several teams had already made contact with the USI Startup Centre incubator or the Agire Foundation for a project evaluation.

On August 31, at the Auditorium of the Suglio Business Center in Manno, the headquarters of Fondazione Agire, the first meeting will take place for these twenty new entrepreneurial projects that, over the next three months, will carry out the acceleration program followed, throughout the process, by professional consultants (coaches). The coaches will oversee supporting the teams in the implementation of the different tools they will acquire during the five planned workshops and in the development of the entrepreneurial project. The various meetings and events in which they will be called upon to participate will mark the different phases of the program until only the ten finalists are brought to the Final Awards Ceremony, scheduled for December 7 at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano.
